Loving mother to Brad (Moon) and Julie Mullin and Barb Hawe (Paul White). Proudest gramma to Allison (Ty) Collins, Margo (Brad) Robertson and Abby Hawe (Myles Pavao). Cherished great gramma to Finley and Maeve Violet Collins. Predeceased by her former husband Jim (Moon) Mullin, her sisters Ada, Dorothy, and son-in-law John Hawe. Vi worked as a telephone operator for Bell Canada, the Sears Catalogue office in Simcoe and a ward clerk on the 2E Surgical Floor at Norfolk General. Vi was a lifetime member of the Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Simcoe and well known as the member of the congregation who timed the minister’s sermons. She was well known for her tenacity and quick wit along with her visits, acts of kindness and generosity to others. Vi will be greatly missed by all who knew, as she was well known as one of a kind. Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at Trinity Anglican Church, 80 Colborne Street South, Simcoe at 1:00 p.m. Due to Covid 19 regulations those wishing to attend must RSVP through the funeral home website (www.sereniutyburialandcremation.com).
