PHIBBS: Thomas Roy (Tommy) - Peacefully surrounded by the love of his family at West Haldimand General Hospital, Hagersville on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 in his 88th year. Predeceased by his parents Ralph and Annie Phibbs. Beloved husband of Marlene Rae (Yeomans) for over 50 years. Loving father to Glen (Sheila), Bob (Cheryl), Barbara (Chip) Gillis, Andrew (Starr) and Allan (Shannon). Proud grandfather of Aaron, Travis, Matthew, Stephen, Graham, Jaxsyn, Parker, Reid, Ashlyn, Sylena, Reese and Raelynn. Tommy was the youngest of 9 siblings. He is survived by his sister Eileen Doughty (late Roy), sister-in-laws Helen Phibbs (late William) and Blanche Phibbs (late Rex) and father-in-law John Yeomans (late Rae). Pre-deceased by brothers Keith (Muriel), Jack (Helen), Donald (Marjorie and Betty) and sisters Olive Kindree (Faye) and Ruth Craddock (Ernest). Tommy farmed at the family farm, Spring Rock Farms, in Haldimand County all of his life. Tommy was a lifetime member of Garnet United Church. Cremation has taken place. A drive through Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September 26, 2021 from 1:00 till 4:00 at the family farm at 3740 Hwy # 6, Hagersville. A private family interment will be held at Garnet United Church.
