VALLIER: RONALD M. (Sonny)-Peacefully at Norview Lodge, Simcoe on Monday, May 25, 2020 Ronald “Sonny” Vallier at the age of 84 years. Pre-deceased by his parents Gordon and Edna (McGarry) Vallier. Loving husband of 64 years to Lucy (Janiszewski) Vallier. Dear father of Michael (Brenda) and Ronald (Jo-Anne). Dear grandfather of Jennifer, Christopher, Kirk (Laura) and Scott (Celina) and his great grandchildren Daelin, Anthony and Connor. Also survived by his sisters Elizabeth (John) Kurpel, Doreen McBride, as well as his many nieces and nephews, Jennifer (Ken) and Christopher (Jennifer). Predeceased by his brothers Peter, Jimmy and Gary (Butch) and his sisters Theresa McLeod, Geraldine Beauvais and Jean Duguay. Sonny was born in Timmins and there he and Lucy raised their two sons on MacDonald Hill. Sonny had a passion for work and always found a project to keep him busy. Whether it was building patio chairs, home reno’s or even building his new home. When he was finally convinced to retire from Ontario Hydro and spend his winters in Florida. He always seemed to find a project to work on. Sonny was known is for his kindness and his willingness to help a friend out no matter the need. Cremation has taken place.
