JEAVONS: Richard Paul- Better known to friends as Dick, Left us on February 15, 2021, in his 78th year, peacefully slipping away in his sleep. Already missed by his wife and love of over 60 years, Iris. Much loved and missed by his children, Tawnya Lynch, Paula Tysoski (Jody) and son James (Kelly). Remembered with affection by his grandchildren, Lexi (Walter) Den, Aidan (Taylor), Devin, Nadia, Conner and Theory. Loving brother of Bonnie (Howard) Woods and predeceased by his parents, Samuel and Dorothy Jeavons and his little buddy Mr. Grey. Remembered by his cousins, nieces and nephews and many friends. With early roots in Dundas and Hamilton, later in the Paris area and finally settling in Port Dover, Dick had fun attending many Friday the 13th events. Dick loved his Harley and spent many warm sunny days, and a few cold rainy ones, just enjoying the ride. Former owner of The ‘Deli’ and Dick’s Boot Bar in Paris, he was proud to support local live music. He loved music, and always had the radio on, mostly blues or classic rock. Being a social guy, he made new friends wherever he went and was always interested in hearing a story or telling one of his own. Dick and Iris liked to travel, highlights including Nashville and New Orleans where they could hear the blues. A private service has taken place.
