ATKINSON: Margaret Maxine- It is with great sadness we announce our mothers passing at Cedarwood Village, Simcoe on Sunday February 27,2022 in her 72nd year. Maxine was the beloved mother of Lori Rodrigues (Roy), Jodi Pye (Steve Squires), and Tim Pye. She was a cherished nanny to Nicole Bergsma, Brittany Keesmaat, Ryker Rodrigues, Colin Squires and Emma Squires and a great nanny to Nikeria Kelman. Maxine was born in Dunnville and raised by her parents Max and Dorhene Long, she was an only child. She will be reuniting with her (predeceased) husband's Allan Atkinson and Michael Pye. Survived by common-law partner of 35 years Tom Wallis. The love that she had for her family she also shared with her beloved animals as well. Her kindness, warmth and generosity will always be remembered. Cremation has taken place and no formal services will be held.
