WHYTE: Joyce- Surrounded by her family, Joyce Helen Elizabeth Whyte passed away peacefully in her 98th year on the evening of October 28th, 2022 at the Delhi Long Term Care Centre. Joyce was a loving sister, mother, grandmother and mother-in-law. Joyce is predeceased by her husband, Fred and sister, Anne. Joyce leaves behind her children Sharon (Don) and Susan (Peter), and loving grandchildren AJ (Jen), David (Saydee), Shawnie and Shyanne. Joyce is survived by her loving brother Douglas (Phyllis) of Lindsay, and nephews, Brian and Graham, living overseas in Scotland. Joyce spent many years of her life living and raising a family in Hamilton and was an avid reader and enjoyed doing her crosswords. Joyce loved telling stories of her younger years in Scotland riding the trains with her friends and attending school in St. Andrews. She will be fondly remembered by her family and friends. As per keeping with her wish’s cremation has taken place. A private celebration of life will take place with Joyce’s family.
