STAVROPOULOS : Dimitrios (Jimi) – Passed away in Simcoe, Ontario. Predeceased by his parents Andreas and Chrissoula Stavropoulos. Father of Andrew of Montreal. Loved by his sister Suzie Contonis of Greece and uncle to Jamie and Krissy. He will be missed by his special aunt Aristea of Greece wo loved him dearly. He will me sadly missed by his close friends, old and new and to his beloved cat “Lucy” Jimi was known to many of the local downtown merchants of Simcoe. He was a giving, polite and kind hearted man who loved music, old classic movies, cars, and was especially artistic. He was very mischievous and always kept things light with a joke. He was a huge fan of his all-time favorite Montreal Canadians. Jimi was proud to be part of the Canadian Airborne Regiment. A gathering will be held to celebrate and honour Jimi at Joy Bakery & Café, 126 Robinson Street, Simcoe on Sunday November 27, 2022, from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. Serenity Burial & Cremation, 361 Main Street, Port Dover (226) 290-9093 have been entrusted with the arrangements.
