Obituary for Christopher Bill

BILL: Christopher (Chris) Henry- On Tuesday, June 14, 2022, Chris Bill was suddenly called to his eternal home at the age of 52. Chris was a loving son of Louis Bill and predeceased by his mother Martha Bill (Hogeterp) in 2013. Chris leaves behind his wife, Kelly Bill (Schaafsma) of 31 years, his children Cody (Camilla), Regan, Kenton (Shelby), James and his first grandchild Thea. Chris also leaves behind his four sisters; Pamela (Harry), Jennifer (Bram), Renee (Randy), Barbara (Ron) along with his in-laws Andrew and Christine Schaafsma, sisters-in-law; Lisa (José), Sarah (Dan) and Julie, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and treasured friends. Chris was a dedicated, outgoing, patient and kind hearted pake, father, husband, son, brother, friend and carried out many other roles throughout his young life. Chris married his high school sweetheart and together they raised four children and enjoyed a beautiful life in Jarvis, Ontario. Chris operated a family business, Meller Poultry Equipment, which was passed on from his father where they worked side by side for 30 years. Chris also cherished working alongside his wife every day. Chris walked out each day as it was presented and found profound comfort in knowing his Saviour and eternal home. Chris is remembered for his selfless character, persevering work ethic and the way he valued quality time, especially with his wife and children. Visitation will be held at Ebenezer Christian Reformed Church, 141 Talbot St. E., Jarvis on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 from 1-3 & 6-8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Ebenezer Christian Reformed Church on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Jim Midgett officiating.
