OAKES, Carolyn June – Suddenly at home on Monday, January 2, 2023, Carolyn Oakes of Port Dover in her 81st year. Wife of the late James D. Oakes (2004). Dear mother of Danny Oakes and Kim Barker. Predeceased by son-in-law Robert (2018) and grandson Tyler (2014). Loving grandmother of Kyle and Wesley Barker. Cherished great-grandmother of Mia, Ellie, Maddilyn, Monroe and Izabella. She is survived by her sisters Betty Winters and Ruth (Mark) Bennett. Carolyn enjoyed many hours in her beautiful flower garden.
