Her loss will forever be felt by her daughter Lori (Kevin) Costigan. Cherished Grandmother to Ryan and Jordan. Grammy never missed an occasion which involved her grandsons and she will always and forever be their biggest fan! Carol is loved by her sister, Gloria Tunis, brothers Frank (Joy) Atkinson, Jim (Sandy) Atkinson, sister-in-law Barbara Campbell. Carol will be lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brother-in-law Bob Tunis, sisters-in-law Jenny Mitchell and Eleanor Myerscough. Carol was a competitive athlete her entire life. She was a skilled swimmer who competed in Olympic trials. She played and coached basketball and volleyball. Carol competed at the highest levels during her baseball career and later went on to play ball recreationally until the age of 75. Until the month of her death, Carol was still bowling and teaching line dancing. Carol worked at Millard Rouse and Rosebrugh for 35 years. She was a dedicated employee who loved her clients, and her clients loved her right back. After the death of her beloved Paul, Carol carved a new life doing things she enjoyed. She joined the Simcoe Seniors’ Centre where she started as a member, then began teaching line dancing and later became a member of the Board.
