FETH, Allan Anton -The Feth/Heinrichs family’s hearts are broken with the loss of our dear husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Allan Anton Feth passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family, on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 in his 83rd year. Loving husband of Edie for 42 years, loving father of Jerry (Karen), Patrick (Connie), Susan, Lauri (Doug), and Karen. Dear grandfather of Ryan (Tanya), Kaitlyn, Alyshia, Noah, Cassandra, Sam, Jay, and Jordan. Proud great-grandfather of Jase and Joel. Allan was born in Humboldt, Saskatchewan. He is predeceased by his father John Feth, his mother Klara (Troppert) Feth and his two brothers Frank and John (Hilda). Allan was a tobacco farmer for many years in the Delhi area. He was a member of the Board of Directors, Delhi District German Home for three years. He later returned to college and became an IMM/Millwright. He was employed by Westinghouse in Libya, also at Stelco and Pure Metal Galvanizing in Brantford where he was Plant Manager until he retired. Allan & Edie then became snowbirds and enjoyed spending the winters in Fort Myers, Florida for 18 years. A warm and gentle man, he was always there to help, advise or just listen when life got complicated. On the other hand, those who knew him also know that he loved to socialize. There are countless cherished memories of kitchen table chats, political debates and just maybe a glass of wine. The family is forever grateful to the Outreach Program and Dr. Robin Martin-Godelie, and the wonderful Nurses and PSW’s who cared for Allan for so many months. As per his wishes, cremation has taken place. Serenity Burial and Cremation Services, 361 Main Street, Port Dover, Ontario, N0A 1N0 have been entrusted with the arrangements. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Juravinski Cancer Centre, 699 Concession Street, Hamilton, Ontario L8V 5C2, or to Brantford General Hospital Oncology, BCHS Foundation, 200 Terrace Hill Street, Brantford Ontario, N3R 1G9, would be appreciated.
